Request for Expressions of Interest – Project Manager for the African Exchanges Linkages Project (AELP)

The African Securities Exchanges Association (ASEA) invites eligible Project Managers/ Individual Consultants to indicate their interest in the following assignment: “Project Manager for the delivery of the “African Exchanges Linkage Project (AELP)”.

We are pleased to announce that the African Securities Exchanges Association (“ASEA”) is recruiting for a Project Manager to drive the African Exchanges Linkage Project (“AELP”), a joint initiative of ASEA and the African Development Bank (“AfDB” or “the Bank”) aimed at enabling cross-border trading and settlement of securities across participating exchanges in Africa.

The Project Manager (“PM”) will lead the implementation of the AELP in the seven (7) participating markets, and will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of project activities, ensuring consistency with ASEA/ AfDB’s commitments and goals. The post holder will be based in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire for a period of 12 months, to commence from April 2019.

To apply for this position, interested project managers/ individual consultants are to send an Expression of Interest, containing their  Curriculum Vitae and response to the Terms of Reference (ToR) for the proposed assignment indicating their suitability for the role. Sufficient evidence of the ability/ qualification to perform the services described in the Terms of Reference must be provided (i.e. description of experience in program/ project management and procurement processing, knowledge of African capital market environment, etc.)
